Melbourne is gradually becoming more and more cycle-friendly!

Whether it's for sport or to get from one place to another, do you have a favourite place to ride?

In big parks or some reserves, somewhere with lots of space and no people around
Albert Park is a decent ride and very family friendly, you can stop off for lunch at the Carousel Cafe. Along the coast from Port Melbourne to St Kilda and beyond is also pretty good, with plenty of scenery and loads of places to stop off at from cafes to restaurants and bars (would recommend Captain Baxters and the view). Would also say cycling from South Wharf up along Southbank and up the Yarra river is a great cycle with plenty of places to stop and drink/eat or bbq along the river.
