The Royal Botanic Garden in Melbourne is a gem in the heart of the city that provides Melbournians with a range of activities to participate in and plenty of beautiful places to enjoy and take in the scenic views.

What is your favourite part of the Royal Botanic Garden? Is it taking a stroll along the many pathways? To discover the flora and fauna? To listen to a concert? To have a picnic?

I enjoy sitting near the water bodies and relaxing. The Maltesers Moonlight Cinema there was great too :)
I like the lawns for picnics and years ago with my nephew there was a youn man playing the harp outside the the shop near the water; it was just lovely and we purchased his Cd which I still have
The fact that there are vast plain lawns for people to relax and have a picnic is my favourite and the reason I visit the Gardens the most. I also have heard that a Gondola ride is being run in the lake; I have yet to visit there.
I adore the great length, width and depth of this massive garden where once can easily spend hours strolling through lush greeneries.
Its so vast and surrounded by nature, it transports you to a different world. That's what I like the best
