Yes, it was a nervous wait, depending on the weather, a phone call 3 am to check if it is a go ahead then meet at a site at yarra glen at 4.30am to be transported a further 20minutes away in St. Andrews via a mini bus. We helped to inflate the balloon in the mist. Finally ready to go, we piled into a huge basket, nervous me stood in the middle not wanting to be so close to the edge. Finally looked down. It was awesome, glad I did it.
I have never been on a hot air balloon adventure, although the sound and look of it is very appealing. Again, being a bit nervous of heights, I am not sure if it is for me, but it's great that we have the opportunity to explore around town.
No. I really want to have a try.
On my too do list been thinking to take my girlfriend on the early morning over Melbourne for our 5th anniversary
I often see the hot air balloons early in the morning from my balcony and wish for a lazy ride in it. Then I feel unsure whether I'll be daring enough to go in there.

I have never experienced that. But heard that its awesome.
NO! Iím terrified of hights, but my brother from Oonadatta, S.A. took most of his family up in one while they were visiting Melbourne 6 years ago, in summer, & they all loved it. I used to watch them flying over the Richmond Markets, & around my daughterís house sometimes, when Iím open the curtains & look out the window. What a beautiful sight! Our 5 year old grand-daughter, still calls them, air hot balloons.
