Yes. I love its distinct seasons. A lot of beautiful trees and flowers have been planted along streets. Coffee is very nice. Various cultural and art activities I can participate in.
I made my first visit to Melbourne 5 years ago and have since been another 4 times! I adore it. The shopping, art, cheap coffee and restaurant prices stand out for me. In WA it is very expensive to eat out. Oh, and I love Aldi!
Been here since 10 months and love this city a lot. Only thing I don't like is most of shops and restaurants close early or remain shut on weekends. Bit of an inconvenience
Love Melbourne... It is big enough to accommodate oodles of galleries, museums, parks, eateries, shopping centres but small enough to be peaceful and delightful.
I love Melbourne too, and I have lived in many cities of the world. Melbourne is unique in many ways. It's a small, manageable BIG city, with every convenience available.
I love Melbourne. I love that it's got an artsy character, complete with street art, plethora of festivals and events, as well as talented musicians and buskers. I love its amazing coffee and bi-polar weather. I love its blend of rich historical architecture with new modern buildings, and of course, its quirky cosy cafes.
I do love Melbourne also, but it's just so freezing in winter. The Melbourne winter seems to be a lot colder than the Sydney winter. I think we'll be moving down there, after our parents have passed away, as our 2 daughters & 2 (so far) grand-daughters live down there. We fly down to Melbourne 4/5 times a year.
Bridge Rd certainly isn't what it used to be!! It's SO boring walking up & down that road now, when I used to enjoy it once!
