Melbourne is home to some of the most inciting markets, with a mixture of indoor and outdoor bazaars for locals and visitors to meander through.

Many inner suburbs offer markets to cater for all types of shopper, whether one wishes to buy art, craft, secondhand items, or fresh produce and food.

Which Melbourne market would you say offers the 'best' shopping experience and why?

The Dandenong Market is huge. It only opens on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. But definitely worth visiting.
I've never been to Dandenong Market! I must go

I really enjoy Queen Vic Market in the city for the delicatessen, as well as the fresh food produce. For secondhand goods I enjoy Bentleigh, Camberwell and Cheltenham markets.
Springvale market is excellent for fresh produce, fresh fish and cheap prices.
1 of our daughters ALWAYS shops at the Richmond markets, which are only open on Saturdays. The other daughter shops at the Queen Victoria markets, sometimes, & the Camberwell markets for 2nd hand goods.
